Senior SAP BTP CAPM Developer

About the role

KPMG India is looking for an experienced SAP BTP CAPM Developer to design, develop, and deploy cloud‑native applications on the SAP Business Technology Platform. The role involves close collaboration with functional teams and architects to deliver integrated solutions for SAP and non‑SAP systems.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop applications using SAP CAP (Cloud Application Programming Model) on SAP BTP.
• Build and enhance Fiori/UI5 applications following modern UI/UX standards.
• Develop backend services with Node.js or Java, focusing on TypeScript.
• Implement OData services, REST APIs, and event‑driven architectures.
• Integrate solutions with SAP S/4HANA, third‑party systems, and cloud services.
• Utilize SAP BTP services such as Destination Service, XSUAA, and Cloud Foundry environment.
• Ensure application performance, scalability, and security best practices.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and CI/CD pipeline implementation.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of hands‑on SAP development experience.
• Strong expertise in SAP BTP (Cloud Foundry) and SAP CAPM.
• Proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript (ES6+) and either Node.js or Java.
• Experience with SAP Fiori/UI5 development and OData V2/V4.
• Good understanding of REST APIs, microservices, and event‑based systems.
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.
