Senior Revenue Controller – Financial Reporting & Controls

About the role

Tide is expanding its Indian operations and needs a proactive Senior Revenue Controller to build best‑in‑class financial reporting and control processes. Reporting to the Director of Finance, you will own the controllership of revenue for the Indian entities and ensure accurate, compliant financial information for internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Understand and reconcile multiple revenue streams with proper backup, system data and vendor confirmations.
• Manage monthly revenue close activities, including revenue recognition, accruals, reconciliations and preparation of supporting schedules.
• Deliver timely and accurate revenue performance reports, key metrics, balance‑sheet reconciliations and management information.
• Own end‑to‑end revenue accounting and controllership, ensuring compliance with IFRS and Ind AS.
• Develop and maintain robust revenue control frameworks and governance procedures.
• Analyse revenue streams, product profitability, transaction volumes and trends to identify risks, anomalies and growth opportunities.
• Partner with Product, Operations, Treasury, FP&A and Commercial teams to ensure correct accounting treatment for new products and pricing structures.

Required profile

• Proven experience in revenue accounting or financial controllership, preferably in a fast‑growing fintech or SaaS environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to identify and resolve complex accounting issues.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate across product, operations and finance functions.
• Self‑starter attitude, capable of taking initiative and driving process improvements.
