Senior Recovery Worker – Specialist Housing Team

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic, experienced Senior Recovery Worker to join our Specialist Housing Team in East Norfolk. You will play a pivotal role in delivering drug and alcohol‑related housing support to individuals with complex mental health needs, while helping shape the future of the service across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a complex caseload of individuals with drug & alcohol and mental health needs.
• Deliver high‑quality, person‑centred support and recovery planning.
• Work collaboratively with clinical teams, partner organisations and local stakeholders.
• Build strong partnerships across housing, health and recovery services.
• Promote service‑user empowerment, inclusion and independence.
• Contribute to service development and improvement during a period of growth.

Required profile

• Experience in support work, recovery services or mental health care.
• Strong communication and relationship‑building abilities.
• Passionate about making a difference in people’s lives.
• Proactive, innovative and solution‑focused mindset.
• Confident leader with stakeholder engagement skills.
• Commitment to inclusion, empowerment and service‑user involvement.
