Senior Quantity Surveyor

About the role

The Senior Quantity Surveyor (SQS) will lead cost management and quantity surveying activities across assigned projects, ensuring alignment with budgets and client requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review cost estimates, bills of quantities (BOQ) and cost plans.
• Conduct quantity take‑offs, measurement and valuation of construction works.
• Support tender documentation, bid evaluation and contractor selection.
• Monitor project costs, budgets and financial performance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Review variations, claims, interim payment applications and final accounts.
• Coordinate with project managers, consultants, contractors and other stakeholders.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline.
• Relevant experience in cost management and quantity surveying within construction or infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of BOQ preparation, cost planning, tendering, measurement and contract administration.
• Experience handling variations, claims, valuations and final accounts.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Excel.
• Use of quantity surveying / cost management tools.
