Senior Quality Control Executive – Furniture & Hardgoods

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Quality Control Executive to lead quality assurance activities for our furniture and hardgoods portfolio at our Faridabad head office. The role ensures that raw materials, production processes and final products meet the company’s stringent quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Verify that procured raw wood complies with approved QC standards and monitor procurement and curing processes.
• Conduct sample inspections at multiple production stages and generate QC reports.
• Coordinate with vendors to review approved pre‑production samples, obtain product specifications (IDF) and drawings, and ensure adherence throughout production and dispatch.
• Perform inline, mid‑line and final inspections, maintaining detailed order and production data.
• Support factories with product and process improvements, implement testing, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Lead root‑cause analysis (RCA) and corrective‑preventive action (CAPA) for product issues and manage complaint resolution.
• Maintain vendor history, audit records, inspection reports and complaint trackers in standard formats.
• Communicate proactively with QC In‑charge, merchandisers and vendors to minimise quality issues and meet production timelines.

Required profile

• BSc/MSc in Forest Science, Wood Science or any graduate/post‑graduate degree.
• Strong understanding of quality assurance/control processes in furniture or hardgoods manufacturing.
• Ability to travel within the assigned region and work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams.
• Organised, detail‑oriented and capable of prioritising team goals over individual tasks.
