Senior QMS Supervisor – Manufacturing Operations

About the role

Sun Pharma is seeking a Senior QMS Supervisor to lead deviation and investigation processes across its manufacturing sites in Jammu. The role ensures compliance with cGMP, regulatory expectations and internal quality standards while driving continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Manage deviation, OOS, OOT and market complaint investigations, ensuring timely root‑cause analysis and closure.
• Lead CAPA implementation in collaboration with cross‑functional teams and monitor effectiveness.
• Prepare trend reports, identify systemic gaps and drive corrective actions.
• Maintain strict Good Documentation Practices for all GxP records and perform periodic verification.
• Utilize SAP to retrieve and assess data for raw materials, packaging, semi‑finished and finished goods during investigations.
• Coordinate training programs on QMS, track completion and maintain records.
• Support internal and external audits, regulatory inspections and ensure timely closure of observations.

Required profile

• Proven experience in quality management within pharmaceutical manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of cGMP, GxP documentation and CAPA processes.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Effective communication and teamwork across QA, QC, Production, Engineering and HR.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SAP for quality data retrieval.
• Familiarity with Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and regulatory guidelines.
