Senior Project Manager – IFRS Implementation

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead end‑to‑end delivery of IFRS 9, IFRS 16 and IFRS 17 implementation programmes within a financial services or consulting environment. The role requires deep regulatory knowledge, strong stakeholder management and the ability to coordinate cross‑functional teams to meet tight regulatory timelines.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the full lifecycle delivery of IFRS 9, IFRS 16 and IFRS 17 projects, ensuring compliance with regulatory deadlines and audit requirements.
• Act as the primary liaison for senior stakeholders such as CFOs, CROs, external auditors and regulators, providing clear updates and managing escalations.
• Oversee model risk management governance, including model validation, regulatory submissions and framework maintenance.
• Coordinate with actuarial, finance, risk and quantitative teams to ensure seamless integration of models and data pipelines.

Required profile

• 8‑12 years of experience delivering large‑scale IFRS implementation programmes.
• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Economics or related field; MBA, CFA, FRM or similar postgraduate qualification highly desirable.
• Professional certifications such as PMP, Prince2, CFA, FRM or ACCA are a plus.
• Fluent written and spoken English with proven ability to communicate complex regulatory concepts to C‑suite and regulator audiences.
