Senior Production Officer

About the role

The Senior Production Officer leads a designated production team, plant and material resources to ensure high‑performance manufacturing that complies with Nestlé standards. The role balances cost efficiency, sustainability and safety while supporting internal and external supply processes.

Key responsibilities

• Generate and issue production instructions, allocate resources and oversee execution on the shop floor.
• Cascade production plans, adjust activities based on real‑time information, and optimise manpower, material and machine utilisation.
• Coordinate routine, periodic and CIP/shutdown maintenance activities.
• Control production costs, safeguard product quality and ensure workplace safety.
• Monitor regulatory compliance, KPIs and safety, health and environment communication.
• Measure, analyse and control line performance, labour and material variance using available systems.
• Lead continuous‑improvement initiatives, review process failures and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with R&D, technical projects and support audits (HACCP, ISO, GMP).

Required profile

• Proven experience in manufacturing/filling‑packing operations and cost‑of‑production management.
• Strong knowledge of maintenance, quality and safety systems.
• Ability to coach, mentor and develop team members.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Computer literacy for data analysis and reporting.
