Senior Product Counsel – Bangkok (Relocation Provided)

About the role

We are looking for a senior lawyer to join Agoda’s Legal team in Bangkok, providing legal review and guidance for new and existing product offerings and platform features across Agoda and its adjacent business unit, RTA. The role focuses on digital, e‑commerce and consumer protection regulations, as well as technology‑related legal matters.

Key responsibilities

• Review and advise on product and platform features to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Support the development of new product offerings, identifying legal risks and proposing pragmatic solutions.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and business teams across regions to align legal guidance with commercial objectives.
• Monitor changes in digital, e‑commerce, consumer protection, privacy and intellectual property law and communicate impacts.
• Provide legal support to the RTA business unit as needed.

Required profile

• Qualified lawyer with several years of experience in digital, e‑commerce or technology‑related legal practice.
• Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to develop scalable, pragmatic solutions.
• Proactive, solution‑oriented mindset and ability to work independently.
• Comfortable operating in an international, multicultural environment.

Required skills

• Deep understanding of digital and e‑commerce platform regulations.
• Knowledge of consumer protection law, privacy regulations and basic intellectual property law.
