Senior Planning Analyst

About the role

Flex is seeking a Senior Planning Analyst to join its Pune team. You will support the Customer Focus Team by managing material planning activities for multiple projects, ensuring timely delivery of kits and meeting customer schedules.

Key responsibilities

• Provide expertise and support to the Customer Focus Team (CFT) for material planning.
• Maintain weekly production planned orders and ensure on‑time kit drops.
• Generate and share material status using shortage reports.
• Submit excess and obsolete inventory data to customers.
• Manage work orders, inventory, MRB and DR processes to meet operational goals.
• Collect, clean, and analyze data from CFT and return insights to planners.
• Monitor inventory levels, prepare shortage and excess mitigation reports, and coordinate with buyers.
• Schedule and coordinate material status with external suppliers, supporting MRP execution.
• Ensure adherence to material planning procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or engineering graduate.
• 1–4 years of experience in planning or supply‑chain roles.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast‑paced team environment.
• Analytical mindset for demand‑pull or push‑out supply‑chain analysis.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably BAAN.
