Senior Oracle DBA – Red Hat Linux, Exadata & Cloud

About the role

We are looking for a senior Oracle Database Administrator to lead the design, implementation, and support of critical Oracle environments across India. The role combines deep technical expertise with functional insight to bridge project and support teams, ensuring seamless delivery of new business solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Drive end‑to‑end implementation of Oracle‑based solutions, from requirement gathering to production deployment.
• Design, configure, and maintain Oracle 11g/12c/18c/19c databases on Red Hat Linux with ASM storage and ext3 file systems.
• Manage Oracle Exadata platforms and integrate with cloud services (OCI, Azure).
• Implement backup and recovery strategies using RMAN and ensure compliance with ITIL, SOX/ICFR standards.
• Develop Unix shell scripts for automation and support PostgreSQL and SQL Server instances as required.
• Provide techno‑functional support, troubleshooting, and performance tuning for ERP‑related database components.
• Collaborate with architecture and development teams to deliver customized, scalable solutions.

Required profile

• 12+ years of IT experience with at least 7 years as an Oracle DBA.
• Hands‑on experience with Oracle 11g/12c/18c/19c on Red Hat Linux.
• Minimum 1 year of experience with PostgreSQL and SQL Server.
• Proficiency in Unix shell scripting (1+ year).
• Strong knowledge of Oracle Transparent Data Encryption and cloud deployments (OCI preferred).
• Experience with Oracle Exadata and Azure data services.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes and financial compliance (SOX/ICFR).
