Senior Officer – EPC O&M Stores

About the role

The Senior Officer – EPC O&M Stores is responsible for overseeing material receipt, storage, and issue processes within an EPC environment, ensuring compliance with SOPs, safety standards, and efficient warehouse utilization.

Key responsibilities

• Process Goods Receipt Notes (GRN) promptly and issue gate passes for returnable, non‑returnable, and contractor materials.
• Monitor material issue and post issued documents, achieving >90% issuance within 24 hours.
• Maintain clean housekeeping inside and outside the store, and safeguard store assets.
• Organize storage locations by material group in SAP and keep records up‑to‑date.
• Preserve project leftovers, critical spares, and shelf‑life items according to SOPs and 5S principles.
• Implement binning for oil & electrical cables, LT panel insulation, and plan storage of heavy packages.
• Optimize warehouse and open‑yard space, conduct monthly physical verification, and submit MIS reports.
• Segregate and declare scrap items, conduct site visits as directed, and ensure health, safety, and environmental compliance.
• Support surprise audits, material tracking (PR‑PO), and statutory compliance for employment.

Required profile

• Any degree with a material‑management qualification.
• Minimum 2 years of store management experience in the renewable‑energy sector.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and PowerPoint.
• Hands‑on experience with SAP for inventory and material management.
