Senior Odoo Finance Implementation Expert (Accounting)

About the role

We are seeking a senior Odoo Finance Implementation Expert to design, architect and fully configure the accounting framework for an Indian Private Limited Company. This role focuses exclusively on financial infrastructure within Odoo and does not involve software development or coding.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deploy a compliant Chart of Accounts (Schedule III) tailored for an Indian Private Limited setup.
• Configure and test automated GST (CGST, SGST, IGST) engines, TDS sections (194C, 194J, 194I, etc.) and TCS rules within Odoo.
• Set up live bank feeds, specialized payment journals and automated bank reconciliation models.
• Map cross‑module accounting rules for Sales, Purchase, Inventory (including automated inventory valuation) and Payroll.
• Configure localized financial reporting templates for real‑time P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow and GST/TDS summary reports.
• Define multi‑level approval workflows for vendor bills, customer credit limits and expense management.

Required profile

• Senior‑level accountant with extensive experience implementing Odoo finance modules.
• Deep knowledge of Indian tax regulations (GST, TDS, TCS) and Schedule III compliance.
• Proven ability to translate complex financial requirements into Odoo configuration without custom code.
