Senior Nurse

About the role

The Senior Nurse will join NIMS Hospital in Tamluk as a full‑time, on‑site leader of patient care. Reporting to the nursing management team, you will be responsible for overseeing clinical delivery, mentoring junior nurses, and upholding the highest standards of safety and quality.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor patient conditions, administer treatments and medications, and ensure timely documentation of care.
• Guide and support junior nursing staff, providing coaching and performance feedback.
• Collaborate closely with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with hospital policies and national healthcare regulations.
• Oversee the proper use and maintenance of medical equipment and promote a safe clinical environment.

Required profile

• Current nursing license with at least 5 years of clinical experience, preferably in a hospital setting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or equivalent; additional certifications are a plus.
• Strong leadership, mentoring and communication abilities.
• In‑depth knowledge of patient assessment, care planning and implementation.
• Familiarity with healthcare standards, safety protocols and documentation requirements.
