Senior Manager – Operations (Bancassurance)

About the role

The Senior Manager – Operations will lead the end‑to‑end service delivery for HDFC Bank customers and sales teams, ensuring a best‑in‑class experience across a wide geographic footprint. You will act as the primary liaison between the bank and Aditya Birla Sun Life Insurance, driving operational excellence and compliance with stringent service level agreements.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with HDFC Bank zonal leadership, understanding their requirements and facilitating rapid response.
• Identify operational gaps, gather insights and implement improvements to the delivery framework.
• Manage escalations efficiently, ensuring timely and comprehensive resolution.
• Report performance metrics, achievements and challenges to both sales and partner leadership on a regular basis.
• Drive seamless change management, training and awareness initiatives for distributed teams.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level experience in operations management within the insurance or bancassurance domain.
• Demonstrated ability to influence and engage stakeholders across multiple locations without direct reporting lines.
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on error‑free execution and cost efficiency.
• Excellent communication skills and a track record of meeting or exceeding SLA targets.
