Senior Manager – Legal

About the role

The Senior Manager – Legal will lead the organization’s legal function, providing strategic advice and overseeing litigation, contracts, and regulatory compliance across the business. Reporting to senior leadership, the role works closely with internal stakeholders and external counsel to protect the company’s legal and commercial interests.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a trusted legal advisor to management, delivering practical, commercially‑focused advice on regulatory, contractual, employment, corporate and compliance matters.
• Draft, review, negotiate and manage a wide range of contracts, including commercial agreements, supply contracts, leases, joint‑venture and financing documents, and maintain standardized templates and governance processes.
• Oversee all litigation, arbitration, mediation and dispute‑resolution matters, coordinating with external counsel, monitoring case progress and providing regular risk updates to senior management.
• Ensure ongoing compliance with applicable laws, regulations and industry standards, and support the development and continuous improvement of internal legal policies and governance frameworks.
• Identify legal risks associated with strategic initiatives, new business opportunities and operational decisions, and recommend mitigation strategies that balance legal protection with business objectives.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in litigation management, contract drafting and negotiation, conveyancing and regulatory compliance.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively with business leaders, external counsel and cross‑functional teams.
• Strong analytical and risk‑assessment skills, with a track record of delivering actionable legal advice to senior management.
• Excellent communication skills and the capacity to translate complex legal concepts into clear business recommendations.
