Senior Manager – Financial Services Strategy (Advisory)

About the role

PwC is seeking a Senior Manager to lead its Intelligent Business Transformation practice for the domestic Financial Services sector. You will work with leading banks, NBFCs and other financial intermediaries to design and execute strategic and operational transformation programmes that drive growth and efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Lead large‑scale strategy, transformation and operating model engagements for banks, NBFCs and other financial intermediaries.
• Own client relationships with senior stakeholders (CXO‑1 / CXO‑2) and act as the primary point of contact.
• Translate client needs into structured problem statements, solution approaches and execution roadmaps.
• Manage complex workstreams, ensure delivery quality and drive end‑to‑end transformation programmes.
• Develop and mentor junior team members, fostering a high‑impact consulting environment.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading strategy or transformation projects in the BFSI sector.
• Strong client‑facing skills with ability to engage senior executives.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving capabilities.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple workstreams and deliver results on time.
• Leadership experience in developing and coaching teams.
