Senior Manager – Bridge Design & Analysis

About the role

Assystem is seeking a Senior Manager to lead bridge analysis and design projects in Chennai. The role involves overseeing a multidisciplinary team, managing projects from inception through to as‑built, and ensuring compliance with regulatory approvals. The candidate will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to optimise bridge performance and safety throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Provide over 10 years of bridge design experience using IRC and international codes.
• Lead a design team of more than five engineers.
• Manage projects from inception to as‑built, including approval processes with IE/AE.
• Utilise structural analysis software such as Staad and Midas.
• Handle GAD processes and secure design approvals from Railways for Road Over Bridges (ROB).
• Coordinate with clients and regulatory bodies for timely approvals.

Required profile

• M.Tech in Structural Engineering.
• Immediate availability preferred.
• Demonstrated experience leading bridge projects in complex, regulated environments.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Staad.
• Proficiency in Midas.
• Experience with bridge analysis using IRC/International codes.
