Senior Manager – Azure Data Engineer (Data & Analytics)

About the role

PwC is looking for a senior leader to design, build and operate advanced data solutions on Azure. The role focuses on turning raw data into actionable insights that drive business growth for clients.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement end‑to‑end data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks and Microsoft Fabric.
• Develop scalable ETL/ELT processes with PySpark and Databricks notebooks.
• Integrate data from on‑premise and cloud sources, including Azure Event Hubs and IoT Hub.
• Optimize data workflows for performance, scalability and reliability.
• Collaborate with data architects, analysts and business stakeholders to capture requirements.
• Monitor, troubleshoot and continuously improve existing pipelines.
• Apply data‑governance, security and compliance best practices.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and sprint planning.

Required profile

• 8–15 years of experience in data engineering and analytics.
• Graduate Engineer or MBA/Management graduate (Bachelor of Engineering or equivalent).
• Proven track record designing data pipelines and ETL/ELT solutions on Azure.
• Strong understanding of data modeling, lakehouse architecture and Delta Lake.
