Senior Logistics Officer

About the role

Samsonite is seeking a Senior Logistics Officer to manage day‑to‑day activities at the CDC Transport Desk. The role ensures accurate processing of transporter invoices, generation of charge tokens, and smooth coordination across internal teams and external partners.

Key responsibilities

• Process daily transporter bills and generate tokens for unloading, detention, and other charges.
• Coordinate with outbound and depot teams to resolve discrepancies against LRs.
• Liaise with the finance team on transporter billing matters.
• Ensure timely submission of bills by transport partners.
• Obtain senior approvals for tokens and related documents.
• Prepare monthly provisions and maintain MIS reports on primary transportation costs.
• Execute special projects as assigned by management.
• Manage Value‑Added Services (VAS) by coordinating between senior staff and service providers.
• Handle any additional assignments delegated by senior management.

Required profile

• University graduate in any discipline.
• 2‑3 years of experience in supply chain management or logistics.
• Strong communication abilities.
• Effective planning and execution skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office applications.
