Senior Legal Associate – Commercial Contracts & Litigation

About the role

Cybage Software Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a seasoned legal professional to join its in‑house Legal & Compliance department in Pune. As a Senior Legal Associate, you will provide strategic legal counsel across commercial contracts, litigation, real‑estate transactions, and intellectual property matters, supporting business operations and mitigating risk.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts such as vendor agreements, NDAs, SLAs, and licensing deals.
• Oversee litigation matters, coordinate with external counsel, and develop dispute‑resolution strategies.
• Manage legal aspects of property acquisitions, leases, and development projects, ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Advise on IP strategy, handle trademark filings, copyright issues, and licensing agreements.
• Provide legal counsel to internal stakeholders, monitor regulatory changes, and prepare risk assessments.
• Maintain organized records of legal documents and case files.
• Mentor junior legal staff and lead cross‑functional initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB); LLM or CS preferred but not mandatory.
• Minimum 5 years post‑qualification experience, including at least 3 years in an in‑house counsel role.
• Strong understanding of Indian corporate law and regulatory frameworks.
• Proven experience in commercial contracts, litigation, real‑estate, and IP matters.
