Senior Lawyer – Litigation & Corporate Law

About the role

Vandana Shah - India is seeking a Senior Lawyer to join its Mumbai office. This full‑time, on‑site position involves managing complex litigation and corporate matters, providing strategic legal advice, and representing clients before courts and regulatory bodies.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage complex cases from inception to resolution.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and other legal documents.
• Provide strategic counsel to clients on litigation and corporate law issues.
• Conduct in‑depth legal research and develop case strategies.
• Mentor junior lawyers and coordinate with external stakeholders, including opposing counsel and regulatory authorities.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, maintain accurate case documentation, and contribute to the firm’s knowledge base.
• Support business development through strong client relationships.

Required profile

• Robust experience in litigation and/or corporate law, handling complex matters independently.
• Licensed to practice law in India with an LL.B (LL.M or specialization is a plus).
• Strong understanding of Indian legal procedures, especially Mumbai courts and tribunals.
• High ethical standards, professionalism, and ability to handle confidential information.
• Excellent organizational and time‑management skills to manage multiple matters simultaneously.
