Senior Lawyer

About the role

Jaywant Group, a leading real‑estate developer in Pune, is seeking a Senior Lawyer to provide expert legal guidance on its industrial and commercial projects. This full‑time, on‑site position will involve drafting, reviewing and negotiating a wide range of agreements related to land acquisition, development, leasing, construction and property management.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate sale deeds, lease agreements, development contracts and other real‑estate documents.
• Conduct due‑diligence, title verification and risk assessment for property transactions.
• Coordinate with external counsel, government authorities and internal teams to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Support dispute resolution and litigation strategy for property‑related matters.
• Monitor changes in real‑estate, corporate and construction law and advise leadership on legal implications.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years of experience in real‑estate, infrastructure or commercial property law, preferably in Maharashtra.
• Strong background in corporate and commercial law, contract negotiation and regulatory compliance.
• LLB from a recognized institution; advanced degree or specialization in real‑estate or corporate law is a plus.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively with senior leadership, project teams, clients and government officials.
