Senior Instock Associate – Private Brands

About the role

Amazon’s Private Brands team is seeking a Senior Instock Associate to own end‑to‑end availability, delivery speed and inventory health for its portfolio. The role combines data‑driven analysis with cross‑functional collaboration to ensure best‑in‑class in‑stock performance.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and improve availability metrics by tracking PO lifecycle, identifying stock‑out root causes and partnering with vendors and supply‑chain teams.
• Drive faster delivery by analyzing network placement gaps, optimizing replenishment signals and working with logistics to reduce promise‑to‑delivery times.
• Ensure right‑first placement of inventory using demand forecasts and regional patterns to minimize transfers and improve first‑shipment efficiency.
• Maintain healthy days‑of‑cover targets, balancing inbound PO quantities against demand velocity and flagging over/under‑supply risks.
• Identify and execute disposition actions on aged, excess or stranded inventory through root‑cause analysis and liquidation plans.

Required profile

• 1+ years of experience in sales, supply‑chain or inventory management.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to dive deep into data and uncover trends.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills to collaborate with supply‑chain, vendor, planning and operations teams.
• Self‑starter who thrives in a fast‑paced, metrics‑driven environment.
