Senior In-Store Pharmacist – Mumbai

About the role

We are expanding our network of pharmacist‑led neighbourhood pharmacies across Mumbai and are looking for an experienced Senior In‑Store Pharmacist to join our 24/7 Pharmacy team. This role involves managing daily pharmacy operations, ensuring accurate dispensing of medicines, and delivering exceptional service to customers in a fast‑moving, round‑the‑clock environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all in‑store pharmacy activities, including prescription processing, billing, stock management and customer service.
• Maintain strict adherence to SOPs, ensuring accuracy and patient safety in every transaction.
• Handle customer queries, provide medication counseling, and coordinate with doctors and internal teams.
• Manage inventory, perform regular stock checks, and ensure timely replenishment of prescription and OTC products.
• Train and mentor junior pharmacy staff, fostering a culture of reliability and professionalism.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of experience as an in‑store/retail pharmacist.
• At least 4 consecutive years working at the same pharmacy location.
• Valid pharmacy qualification and registration required for practice in India.
• Currently based in Mumbai and able to commute to locations such as Lower Parel, Wadala, and New Cuffe Parade.
• Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and ability to work within structured SOPs.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of prescription medicines, chronic medication, OTC products, dosage forms and pharmacy operations.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
• Effective communication with customers, doctors and internal teams.
