Senior HR Specialist

About the role

The Senior HR Specialist supports Cubic's Human Resources department by handling transactional HR activities across multiple APAC locations. Working under close supervision, the role ensures accurate employee data management, compliance with local employment laws, and smooth processing of HR transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Process complex employee data changes such as hires, terminations, transfers, promotions, and compensation adjustments.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of employment laws in APAC countries and ensure compliance with contracts, working hours, and leave policies.
• Collaborate with HR business partners and payroll to resolve cases promptly and accurately.
• Oversee timely processing of HR transactions, including SAP invoicing and HRIS updates.
• Assist managers with employee status change inquiries and maintain HR records as required.
• Identify and propose process automation opportunities using Workday HCM and other tools.
• Complete special projects and miscellaneous HR activities as assigned.

Required profile

• Four or more years of HR operations experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience with an HRIS system; Workday preferred.
• College degree in a related discipline preferred.
• Ability to handle confidential personnel information and prioritize tasks effectively.
