Senior HR Business Partner – People Experience & Technology

About the role

Amazon is seeking a dynamic, strategic, and curious Senior HR Business Partner to join the People Experience and Technology (PXT) team. The role supports North America Stores teams operating in India and emerging verticals such as Grocery and Amazon Health. You will act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, shaping people strategy to drive business outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with VPs and Directors to design and execute people strategies that improve organizational effectiveness.
• Interpret people metrics, identify risks, and recommend inclusive solutions using Amazon’s business planning cycles.
• Leverage Amazon Org Design tools to create structures aligned with business strategy and culture.
• Assess senior‑leader talent needs, develop pipelines, and provide coaching to enhance inclusive leadership.
• Use listening mechanisms to surface trends and drive change management initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an HR Business Partner at a senior level, preferably in fast‑moving, technology‑driven environments.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to translate strategy into actionable HR solutions.
• Excellent influencing and advisory skills with senior leadership.
• Demonstrated ability to lead change, improve retention, and foster inclusive cultures.
