Senior Help Desk Technician

About the role

We are seeking a seasoned Help Desk Technician to join a dynamic, fun‑loving IT team within a rapidly expanding in‑house IT department. This senior position reports to the IT Manager and offers the chance to work on a variety of systems while supporting the wider business.

Key responsibilities

• Provide reporting, testing, and maintenance for business software and implement new IT systems and applications.
• Administer and support Windows Server environments and various Linux operating systems.
• Handle tickets end‑to‑end, documenting problem, solution, user details, timestamps, and satisfaction.
• Maintain IT systems, processes, and assist the broader Help Desk function across the group.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a Help Desk or technical support role.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and phone etiquette skills.
• Strong enthusiasm for helping users and resolving issues.
• Fluent English speaking ability.

• Windows Server (all versions)
• Microsoft Exchange
• Linux operating systems
• Remote support tools
• SQL
• Networking fundamentals (DHCP, DNS, etc.)
• Fortinet firewall experience (desirable)
