Senior Hardware Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Hardware Engineer to lead ECU hardware development for automotive applications at Bosch’s Coimbatore centre. You will work within a cross‑functional team to design, develop and validate electronic control units that meet Bosch’s quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform requirement analysis and define hardware concepts for automotive ECUs.
• Design and develop modules/ECUs, including worst‑case calculations and simulations.
• Create schematics and bill of materials (BOM) and coordinate layout development.
• Manage sample development with the plant and prepare test plans.
• Conduct ECU testing and coordinate EMC test plans and execution.
• Maintain project documentation according to defined processes.
• Coordinate DFMEA and functional safety activities.

Required profile

• B.E. degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related field.
• 6–9 years of experience in ECU hardware development for automotive applications.
