Senior Graphic Designer – Assistant Manager

About the role

We are seeking a creative and detail‑oriented Assistant Manager – Graphic Design to lead visual communication across digital and offline channels for our higher‑education marketing team in Bengaluru. The role blends strong design expertise with project‑management and mentorship responsibilities to deliver high‑quality assets that align with brand and business goals.

Key responsibilities

• Conceptualise and produce visual assets for digital campaigns, social media, websites, email marketing, presentations, advertisements and print collateral.
• Develop creative concepts that adhere to brand guidelines and campaign objectives.
• Mentor and guide junior graphic designers, review their work and ensure consistent quality.
• Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, prioritising tasks to meet deadlines.
• Maintain design assets, templates and brand guidelines, ensuring consistency across all touchpoints.
• Stay updated on industry trends, AI‑powered design tools and emerging technologies, and recommend process improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Fine Arts, Multimedia Design or a related field.
• 3–4 years of graphic design experience, preferably in marketing, advertising, ed‑tech or SaaS environments.
• Strong portfolio showcasing branding, campaign design and visual storytelling.
• Experience leading or mentoring designers is a plus.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite – Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign.
• Proficiency in Figma.
• Familiarity with AI‑assisted creative tools and workflows.
• Expertise in brand identity design, digital marketing creatives, social media design, landing‑page and website assets, presentation design, print and collateral design, typography, layout and colour theory.
