Senior Fullstack Engineer (MERN) – Delhi

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Fullstack Engineer to develop and scale AI‑powered, customer‑facing products using the MERN stack. You will work in a fast‑moving early‑stage startup, collaborating with product, design, AI and engineering teams to deliver high‑impact features.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain scalable frontend and backend applications using React, Node.js and Express.
• Build intuitive, high‑performance user interfaces and secure backend services.
• Design and optimise APIs, databases and overall application architecture.
• Integrate AI capabilities and third‑party services into product workflows.
• Write clean, well‑tested code and contribute to code reviews and engineering standards.
• Monitor production systems, troubleshoot issues and improve performance, reliability and scalability.
• Participate in architecture discussions and technical decision‑making.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience as a Full‑Stack or Software Engineer, preferably in a product‑focused company.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the MERN stack: MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js.
• Strong JavaScript and TypeScript expertise.
• Experience with REST APIs, system design and performance optimisation.
• Knowledge of relational databases such as PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP or Azure).
• Experience with Docker, CI/CD pipelines and modern development workflows.
• Understanding of frontend state management, responsive design and integration of third‑party APIs.
