Senior Finance Manager & Controller (Mumbai)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Finance Manager & Controller to lead financial reporting, consolidation and audit activities across all our locations, with a primary base in Mumbai. The role requires deep expertise in Ind AS, IFRS and US GAAP, and the ability to drive high‑quality financial statements and analyses.

Key responsibilities

• Manage financial reporting and accounting activities across all locations, ensuring accuracy, completeness and timely closure.
• Drive monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting in line with Ind AS/IFRS and global reporting requirements.
• Lead the monthly consolidation of books and financial statements for multiple entities.
• Prepare and review balance‑sheet reconciliations, key account RECOs and resolve outstanding items.
• Coordinate internal and statutory audits, acting as the main point of contact for auditors.
• Monitor compliance with accounting standards, reporting policies and internal controls.
• Implement changes from new or revised reporting standards and align with global formats.
• Prepare management accounts, closing entries and adjustments.
• Produce monthly MIS and financial analysis for management.
• Review complex accounting transactions and provide technical memos.
• Advise on financial instruments, leases, ESOPs, securities, loans, business combinations and consolidation.
• Handle accounting matters related to Ind AS 103/110, IFRS, US GAAP ASC 740 (deferred taxes) and ASC 842 (leases).
• Facilitate technical sessions on Ind AS/IFRS developments.
• Manage and monitor Capex accounting, tracking and reporting.

Required profile

• Senior‑level finance professional with extensive experience in financial reporting, consolidation and audit coordination.
• Strong knowledge of Ind AS, IFRS and US GAAP standards.
• Proven ability to lead month‑end and year‑end closing processes across multiple entities.
• Excellent analytical and technical writing skills for accounting memos and standards implementation.
