Senior Finance Executive

About the role

The Senior Finance Executive (Assistant Manager – Finance) will drive financial planning, MIS reporting, cost control and business partnering across DVSI’s operations. You will translate data into actionable insights, support strategic decisions and embed financial discipline throughout the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in annual budgeting, rolling forecasts and track actuals versus budget, highlighting key variances.
• Analyse revenue, costs and profitability across projects and departments, providing data‑driven insights to leadership.
• Prepare monthly MIS reports, dashboards and management summaries; build and maintain financial models and performance trackers.
• Monitor company‑wide expenses, review reimbursements, identify cost‑saving opportunities and collaborate with procurement and operations for better cost planning.
• Partner with departments on project costing, pricing strategies and margin improvement; support new business initiatives with financial inputs.
• Track cash‑flow trends, receivables and working capital, flagging potential risks and supporting fund utilization planning.
• Drive process improvements and automation, creating automated dashboards and enhancing financial workflow efficiency.

Required profile

• MBA Finance, B.Com, CA Inter or CMA Inter.
• 4–7 years of experience in FP&A or Business Finance, preferably in startup or multi‑entity environments.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and commercial mindset.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• High ownership, proactive attitude and ability to thrive in a fast‑paced setting.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Excel.
• Advanced proficiency in Google Sheets.
• Familiarity with ERP tools such as Odoo or Tally.
