Senior Finance Controller

About the role

The Senior Finance Controller will lead the finance function for a global IT services organization based in Mumbai. Reporting to the CFO, you will ensure robust financial controls, compliance and accurate reporting while partnering with business leaders to drive profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly and annual financial close processes and ensure compliance with Ind AS, IFRS or US GAAP as applicable.
• Manage statutory, tax and regulatory audits and oversee all required filings.
• Establish and maintain internal controls, financial governance frameworks and mitigate financial risks.
• Partner with business units on budgeting, forecasting, revenue and margin analysis, and support pricing and deal structuring.
• Oversee revenue recognition for T&M, Fixed‑Price and Managed Services contracts and monitor project profitability and utilization.
• Monitor cash flow, receivables, payables and working‑capital cycles, ensuring effective billing and collections.
• Lead, mentor and develop finance and accounting teams while driving process automation initiatives.

Required profile

• CA, CPA or MBA (Finance) qualification preferred.
• 12+ years of finance experience, including 3–5 years in a leadership role.
• Prior experience in an IT services or technology services organization.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and stakeholder‑management capabilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems, specifically SAP and Oracle.
