Senior Fellow – Gynecology Oncology

About the role

The Senior Fellow will join the Gynecology Oncology department at Fortis Mohali on a full‑time, on‑site basis. Working under senior consultants, the Fellow will take part in ward rounds, outpatient clinics and specialised procedures, contributing to patient diagnosis, treatment planning and management.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct daily ward rounds and outpatient consultations in Gynecology Oncology.
• Review patient histories, interpret investigations and document clinical findings.
• Assist in planning and performing specialised oncological procedures under supervision.
• Ensure compliance with hospital protocols, clinical pathways and patient safety standards.
• Mentor junior trainees and participate in academic activities such as case discussions and teaching sessions.
• Contribute to departmental audits, research projects and quality‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Postgraduate medical qualification (MD, MS, DNB or equivalent) in Obstetrics & Gynecology.
• Valid medical registration with the relevant regulatory authority.
• Adherence to professional ethical standards.
• Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
