Senior Executive – Stores

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Executive – Stores with 5–7 years of relevant experience in the steel/manufacturing industry to manage day‑to‑day stores operations, material receipt, inventory control, documentation, and material movement within the plant. The role involves coordinating with purchase, production, maintenance and finance teams to ensure efficient material flow and compliance with safety and SOP standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily stores operations including material receipt, storage, issue and dispatch.
• Maintain inventory accuracy, stock levels and material records.
• Handle GRN, material issue/return, stock transfer and inventory documentation.
• Coordinate with Purchase, Production, Maintenance and Finance for material requirements.
• Conduct physical stock verification and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
• Monitor slow/non‑moving and obsolete materials.
• Ensure proper storage, housekeeping, safety and compliance with SOPs.
• Prepare stores MIS and support internal/external audits.

Required profile

• Graduate/Diploma in Materials Management, Supply Chain, Engineering or related field.
• 5–7 years of stores/inventory experience in the steel/manufacturing industry.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing plant environment and coordinate with multiple departments.
