Senior Executive – MEP Design

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Executive to lead MEP design activities for our real‑estate projects. The role involves coordinating with architects, structural engineers and site teams to deliver fully integrated mechanical, electrical and plumbing solutions that meet local codes and Godrej’s quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate with internal departments (architect, structural, consultants, site team) to ensure smooth project completion.
• Prepare detailed MEP coordinated layouts, sections, and isometric drawings for water supply, drainage, sewage, fire‑fighting and HVAC systems.
• Design and detail underground and overhead tanks, sleeve layouts, terrace looping, and down‑take water supply networks.
• Develop plumbing, fire‑fighting schematic layouts, VRF & split AC layouts, and chilled‑water system drawings where applicable.
• Produce MOEF & HRC layouts, fire‑fighting shop drawings, external hydrant and sprinkler layouts, and builder’s works (slab & wall openings).
• Generate quantity take‑offs, BOMs, and maintain project‑wise documentation, filing and scanning.
• Review design reports, monitor drawing submittal schedules and resolve RFIs from the site.

Required profile

• Minimum 12th grade with completed ITI draftsman course.
• Good knowledge of AutoCAD; basic Revit MEP training (diploma advantageous).
• 8‑10 years of core design experience in mechanical services – public health engineering, fire‑fighting and HVAC – within a Grade‑A real‑estate developer.
• Strong understanding of local design standards, codes and authority requirements.
