Senior Executive – Finance & Accounting

About the role

The Senior Executive will lead day‑to‑day accounting operations, ensuring accurate recording of all financial transactions and compliance with statutory requirements. This role partners with vendors, auditors and internal stakeholders to maintain robust financial controls and deliver insightful reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Manage accounts payable, including invoice verification, ERP posting and timely vendor payments.
• Perform regular bank, customer and vendor reconciliations and maintain the Fixed Asset Register.
• Ensure compliance with GST, TDS and other tax regulations, handling filings and end‑to‑end TDS processes.
• Prepare MIS reports, budget vs. actual analysis, variance explanations and support annual budgeting.
• Coordinate audit activities, respond to departmental assessments and audit observations.
• Lead month‑end and year‑end closing activities within prescribed timelines.
• Analyze cost components, identify savings opportunities and contribute to profitability analysis.
• Present financial summaries to management and support internal reviews.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of financial accounting, GST laws and statutory compliance.
• Hands‑on experience with accounts payable, internal controls and MIS reporting.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Effective communication skills for interaction with vendors, auditors and internal teams.

Required skills

• Proficiency in SAP (preferred).
• Advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Microsoft PowerPoint for reporting and presentations.
