Senior Engineer – PV Operations & Maintenance

About the role

ACCIONA Energy India is seeking a Senior Engineer to lead Operations & Maintenance (O&M) of a photovoltaic (PV) power plant in Rajasthan. You will ensure continuous, safe, and efficient plant performance while coordinating with internal teams and external contractors.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily plant operation and control equipment functionality.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance, inspect key installation points, and resolve technical failures.
• Manage emergencies, outage processes, and coordinate response actions.
• Oversee external suppliers and contractors, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Prepare and maintain operational reports, MIS, and task coordination records.
• Utilise CMMS and other computer tools for planning and tracking maintenance activities.
• Monitor warehouse spare parts consumption and plan replenishment.
• Handle 220 kV line maintenance and substation/SCADA operations.

Required profile

• Proven experience in PV plant O&M and high‑voltage operations.
• Strong knowledge of substation systems, SCADA, and PGCIL outage procedures.
• Ability to work safely following 100 % safe‑work practices and report deviations promptly.
• Excellent coordination skills with O&M contractors and internal teams.
