Senior Engineer – Mount & Bush Design

About the role

The Senior Engineer will lead the design and development of powertrain mounts and bushes, including elastomer mountings, housings and fasteners for extender engines. You will ensure successful delivery of engineering aspects across programs, meeting time, cost, quality and functionality targets.

Key responsibilities

• Report to the Center of Excellence for Axle & Mounts, providing technical direction and prioritising programme objectives.
• Design and develop frame carriers from concept to serial production, coordinating with B2P suppliers.
• Create and monitor project plans at component, system and vehicle levels, initiating recovery actions when deviations arise.
• Develop robust specifications, manage design releases in PLM, handle change management and BOM updates.
• Conduct comprehensive validation plans, both analytical and physical, and interpret results to recommend corrective measures.
• Support vehicle test and build activities, providing technical solutions to issues.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of experience in automotive chassis powertrain mounts and suspension bushes engineering.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering.
• Fluency in English and experience in a multicultural environment.
• Valid passport with willingness to travel for onsite support for up to three years.
