Senior Engineer - Linux BSP (Solutions)

About the role

The Senior Engineer will design and develop real‑time embedded software, firmware, and PC/mobile applications, ensuring solutions meet customer and system requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop embedded software/firmware and related applications.
• Analyse low‑level requirements and adapt designs for end‑customer needs.
• Participate in high‑level and low‑level software design.
• Perform unit, functional and system testing, both manual and automated.
• Maintain traceability from requirements through design, coding and testing.
• Conduct code reviews, static analysis and troubleshoot software issues.
• Document specifications, design documents, test cases, reports and release notes.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of Linux device drivers, kernel programming and internals.
• Experience with Yocto, Buildroot or similar build systems.
• Familiarity with development tools such as oscilloscopes, protocol analyzers, emulators, signal generators and JTAG programmers.
• Hands‑on experience with Qualcomm, TI, NXP, NVIDIA, Intel or similar microprocessors.
• Understanding of hardware schematics and component datasheets to derive firmware solutions.
