Senior Engineer I, Engineering Platforms

About the role

Invesco is seeking an experienced MuleSoft Anypoint Platform Administrator with deep expertise in AWS EKS, Kubernetes, and Site Reliability Engineering. You will own the reliability, scalability, and security of the MuleSoft integration platform across multiple environments.

Key responsibilities

• Administer, configure and maintain MuleSoft Anypoint Platform components such as Runtime Fabric, API Manager, API Gateway, Exchange and Anypoint MQ.
• Design, deploy and optimise Kubernetes/EKS clusters, manage node scaling, networking, ingress, certificates and storage.
• Implement SRE practices, monitor platform health, define SLAs/SLOs and automate operations using IaC and CI/CD pipelines.
• Perform platform upgrades, capacity planning, patching and lifecycle management while ensuring high availability and security.

Required profile

• 7+ years of IT experience in enterprise integration, middleware or platform engineering.
• 5+ years hands‑on MuleSoft Anypoint Platform administration and large‑scale environment management.
• Proven experience with Site Reliability Engineering practices in production environments.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.

Required skills

• MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, Runtime Fabric, API Manager, API Gateway, Anypoint MQ, CloudHub.
• AWS EKS, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform (preferred), CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitLab).
• Monitoring & observability tools: Datadog, Dynatrace, Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana.
• Java and Spring Boot (preferred for troubleshooting and modernization).
