Senior Engineer – Engineering Change Management Coordinator

About the role

Bosch Automotive Electronics India Pvt. Ltd. (RBAI) is seeking a Senior Engineer to lead Engineering Change Management activities for its automotive electronics portfolio. The role involves coordinating change requests, ensuring technical readiness, and supporting trial execution across production lines.

Key responsibilities

• Review, approve, and track Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) using the ECR tracker.
• Provide technical confirmation for all change proposals and initiate service requests for EWAK.
• Participate in daily team board meetings and update trial status to the Cross‑Functional Team (CFT).
• Validate Bill of Materials (BOM) during date change requests to prevent conflicts.
• Coordinate production planning, weekly ECR meetings, and monthly KPI reporting.
• Prepare weekly trial plans, reserve capacity for trial execution, and ensure timely master‑data creation for 10‑digit and 13‑digit parts.
• Drive on‑time implementation of hardware and software changes in collaboration with PDM, CLP, and QMM.

Required profile

• Electronics or Mechanical Engineering degree.
• 1–3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably automotive electronics.
• Familiarity with SAP and engineering change management processes.
