Senior Engineer / Assistant Manager – Electronics Shift Maintenance (ABS/ESP)

About the role

Bosch Chassis Systems India Ltd is seeking a senior engineer or assistant manager to lead electronics shift‑operation maintenance for ABS and ESP production equipment. The role focuses on improving equipment OEE, managing spare parts, and driving Industry 4.0 initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and improve OEE of ABS/ESP production equipment in assembly and deburring areas.
• Plan and execute preventive and predictive maintenance, including scheduling and resource allocation.
• Ensure spare‑part availability, manage stock replenishment, and develop alternate suppliers.
• Lead CNC and SPM line installation, commissioning, and obsolescence management.
• Implement cost‑reduction projects for energy consumption and repair expenses.
• Drive capacity‑improvement projects such as cycle‑time reduction and OEE enhancements.
• Ensure compliance with internal/external audits, safety, and 5S standards.
• Execute analysis to reduce quality rejections caused by machine issues.
• Lead I4.0, digitisation, and data‑analytics initiatives.

Required profile

• B.E. in Electronics or Mechatronics.
• 6–10 years of experience in electronics/electromechanical maintenance, preferably in automotive safety systems.
• Proven ability to develop technical competency of sub‑ordinates.
• Strong project‑management and lean‑management skills.

Required skills

• CNC and SPM machine electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic knowledge.
• PLC/CNC programming (CS2000, MTX, OSA3, etc.).
• Multi‑axis servo systems and vision systems.
• Data analytics, Industry 4.0 and digitisation concepts.
• Spare‑part management, preventive and predictive maintenance.
• OEE improvement and capacity‑enhancement techniques.
