Senior Engineer / Assistant Manager – Electrical & Electronic Maintenance

About the role

Bosch Group is seeking a Senior Engineer / Assistant Manager to lead daily maintenance operations for its production facilities in Tirunelveli. The role ensures machine and equipment availability, reliability, and efficiency while adhering to quality and safety standards. Working in shifts is required.

Key responsibilities

• Perform repairs and maintenance on assembly lines and injection molding machines.
• Plan and execute preventive maintenance activities and regular inspections.
• Track and report key KPIs such as MTBF, MTTR, and PMI completion.
• Manage spare‑parts inventory and initiate procurement as needed.
• Allocate maintenance tasks to team members based on skill level and workload.
• Provide rapid response for troubleshooting and problem resolution.

Required profile

• Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.
• 5–8 years of experience in machine maintenance, preferably on assembly lines and injection molding equipment.
• Experience leading a maintenance team in a shift‑based environment.
