Senior Electrician

About the role

The Senior Electrician will lead the electrical maintenance function at our edible oil refinery in Nellore. This full‑time, on‑site position ensures that all electrical systems operate safely, reliably, and efficiently to support continuous plant production.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and corrective repairs on panels, motors, drives, lighting, and control systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults using test instruments and technical documentation.
• Coordinate with production and maintenance teams to minimise downtime and schedule upgrades.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and compliance documentation.
• Implement and enforce safety procedures and industrial electrical codes.
• Guide and mentor junior technicians on best practices and safety standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience as an electrician in manufacturing or process industries, preferably in food or oil refineries.
• Diploma/ITI in Electrical or related field; higher technical qualifications are a plus.
• Strong knowledge of power distribution, industrial safety standards, and electrical engineering concepts such as motor control and PLC interfaces.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and equipment manuals.
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive safety mindset.
