Senior Electrical & Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Electrical & Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to ensure safe, efficient and compliant operation of plant electrical and mechanical systems. The role involves planning and executing maintenance strategies, troubleshooting breakdowns and supporting automation to minimise downtime.

Key responsibilities

• Identify potential hazards during maintenance and ensure compliance with safety permits, LOTO and JSA procedures.
• Plan, schedule and monitor predictive, preventive and shutdown maintenance activities.
• Maintain housekeeping standards in utility areas and manage critical spares inventory.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical breakdowns and implement corrective actions.
• Support automation and control systems, coordinating with vendors for repairs and upgrades.
• Lead equipment qualification and validation activities for new or modified assets.

Required profile

• Proven experience in electrical and mechanical maintenance within an industrial setting.
• Strong knowledge of safety standards, work‑permit systems and LOTO procedures.
• Ability to plan maintenance programmes and manage spares efficiently.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work with cross‑functional teams.
