About the role
The Senior Director, Renewals leads the Customer Success and Growth organization at Salesforce, overseeing teams that protect and grow revenue through contract renewals. This senior position shapes renewal strategy, forecasts attrition risk, and partners with Sales and Customer Success leaders to drive financial results.
Key responsibilities
- Lead one or multiple teams of dedicated renewal professionals.
- Develop and execute renewal strategies, including win‑win negotiations and growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with executive stakeholders to influence policy, address gaps, and align processes.
- Participate in client meetings and engage corporate resources to support direct reports.
- Establish regular cadence with Sales and Customer Success leadership for forecasting and performance reviews.
- Mentor and develop the renewals team, promoting best practices and forecasting excellence.
- Achieve or exceed attrition reduction and revenue uplift targets.
Required profile
- Proven leadership experience in renewal, revenue management, or a related customer‑success function.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Deep understanding of Salesforce products, culture, and AI‑driven CRM solutions.
- Ability to translate data insights into actionable business recommendations.
