Senior Data Scientist – Mobility Platform & Solutions

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Data Scientist to join the Mobility Platform & Solutions (MPS) team within Bosch Group. You will work on building advanced analytics and AI solutions that power our mobility and logistics platform across India, Europe and North America.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders from multiple business units to identify data‑driven opportunities.
• Mine, clean and analyze large datasets using statistical methods and machine‑learning techniques.
• Design, develop and deploy customized ML/AI models that meet specific customer requirements.
• Create reusable AI/GenAI/ML models that can be scaled across different business lines.
• Translate analytical insights into actionable recommendations for product and business improvement.
• Partner with product and engineering leaders throughout the project lifecycle to ensure data capture and clear analytic definitions.
• Build and maintain dashboards (e.g., PowerBI) to communicate model results to end users.
• Provide technical guidance to team members and independently drive projects to completion.

Required profile

• Master’s degree from a reputed Indian institute in Statistics, Machine Learning, AI, Computer Science or related field.
• 2–5 years of professional experience in data science, analytics or AI.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to tell a clear, concise, data‑driven story to audiences at all levels.

• Supply‑chain analytics (inventory optimization, demand forecasting).
• Sales analytics (recommendation systems, customer segmentation, price elasticity).
• Manufacturing analytics (root‑cause analysis, scrap reduction, cycle‑time reduction, warranty analytics).
• Computer vision (object detection, classification).
• Generative AI techniques (RAG, Agentic RAG, Graph RAG, Chain of Thoughts, Tree of Thoughts, content extraction, summarization, chat applications, LangChain).
