Senior Data Modeler – Financial Services

About the role

Capco is looking for a Senior Data Modeler to join its Data & Analytics practice in India. The role focuses on designing, building and governing high‑quality data models for financial services clients, ensuring data assets are accurate, consistent and reliable.

Key responsibilities

• Create and deliver conceptual, logical and physical data models following established data‑governance standards.
• Maintain high‑quality metadata and data artefacts that are complete, traceable and accessible.
• Act as a liaison between business and technical teams to bridge gaps and ensure successful project delivery.
• Apply SDLC and Agile methodologies throughout the modeling lifecycle.
• Support data‑quality initiatives and enforce data‑governance policies.

Required profile

• 8‑12 years of hands‑on data‑modeling experience.
• Strong background in the financial domain.
• Individual contributor with solid understanding of SDLC and Agile practices.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Proactive problem‑solver with a self‑starter attitude.
